The 11th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Applications (ICIEA 2024) was held in Hiroshima, Japan from April 17 to 19, 2024. It is co-organized by the Academy of Science and Engineering, Singapore, the National University of Singapore, and Asia University, and co-sponsored by Macau University of Science and Technology, Western Washington University, etc. Topics related to reporting on the progress of industrial engineering theory, technology, methods, applications, and practices; general surveys and critical reviews; announcements; reflections on these issues through interactions between academic researchers from different regions and cultures. Timely discussions on research topics are provided by introducing the latest progress and developments in industrial engineering and applications in solving social problems.
