WESF plays a role in promoting standardization and eliminating global trade barriers.
I was invited by the UNESCO Addis Ababa Office to attend the Continental Conference on Transforming STEM in Africa held between 26 and 28 November 2024. According to the program, myself and the Minister of Science, Technology and innovation from south Africa, gave Keynote Addresses at the Opening of Track 3 on 27 November and then I participated at the Ministerial Roundtable discussions on the Communique, on the 28th November 2024.
The Conference attracted huge delegations from Africa and beyond ranging from policy makers to senior officers in the public service, innovators, entrepreneurs and students.
