WESF plays a role in promoting standardization and eliminating global trade barriers.
The fourth edition of the Latin American and Caribbean Open Science Forum (CILAC 2024) took place from 2 to 4 December 2024 in San Andrés Island, Colombia and was focused on the central concept of “Science that dialogues”.
CILAC is the largest scientific and technological policy meeting in Latin America and the Caribbean and is considered the regional hub of science, technology and innovation. It is a platform to debate, plan and monitor effective policies with the goal of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
