WESF plays a role in promoting standardization and eliminating global trade barriers.
To help our community demonstrate the importance of standards to key stakeholders, ANSI has updated its Standards Boost Business resource webpage with new case studies submitted by ANSI members.
The newest case studies echo the impact of standards across various sectors, demonstrating how standards-based solutions are helping to address challenges while increasing operational efficiencies. The latest case studies from NADCA: The HVAC Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Association and the Compressed Gas Association address indoor air quality and clean energy.
What is Standards Boost Business?
The recently redesigned Standards Boosts Business (SBB) webpage is an ANSI initiative to inform and educate the public, including C-suite executives and public policy officials, about the ways that standards and conformity assessment activities boost business performance and innovation, lower business costs, and drive U.S. industry competition in the global marketplace.
The resource offers information demonstrating the business value of standards—and the benefits of participating in their development. In addition to frequently updated case studies, other offerings include:
Customizable elevator pitches designed to illustrate the strategic importance of standards participation to decision makers
Content on the value of standards participation to companies, trade associations, government agencies, consumers, and emerging professionals
A library of additional resources, including white papers and case studies from the standardization community
Have a Case Study? ANSI Wants to Hear from You!
ANSI accepts submissions for its SBB resource library and case studies collection. Both case study and resource submissions can be sent to webteam@ansi.org, and will be used at ANSI’s discretion.
